Peter Woodward
Peter was born and bred in Newcastle. He gained his qualification in the health and fitness industry as a massage therapist in 2020. Pete’s interest in massage therapy developed over years of learning to manage his own injuries after coming off a motorcycle in the reckless days of his youth. His accident helped him form the two basic tenants of his health philosophy: first, stay positive! Any injury or condition can be improved. And second, try not to do anything stupid in the first place.
In the past, Peter spent time in the travel industry and worked as an English teacher while living in Japan. He is also a qualified chef, specialising in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food.
My main focus is:
What are your core beliefs about wellness and health?
That wellness and health is a journey, just like any other form of self-development. It doesn’t matter where you begin, it just matters that you are taking steps to improve. That will automatically put you ahead of where you were when you started.
What key health lessons do you like to impart to patients?
Small decisions, micro habits, little steps. They all count and over time can add up to big results.
What do you enjoy about your job?
My whole career has been people focused. I love making connections and helping people.
What are your extracurricular passions?
I am constantly looking for new things to learn and am a keen reader. I also love spending time with my family and friends, cooking, gardening and hanging out with our dog and rabbits.
