Felicity graduated from CSU with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2016 after previously completing a degree in Sports Science and Coaching (2007). She moved to Newcastle with her young family in 2017 and has been working in Private Practice since, joining Hunter Physio Sports Clinic in 2019. She is skilled in all key areas of Physiotherapy and will assess how your whole body can be contributing to your pain. Whether you’re an elite athlete, novice runner or enjoy hobbies (such as gardening), Felicity can help with your rehabilitation and get you back to the activities you enjoy.

Unique Skill Set

Felicity comes to HPSC with 15 years’ experience in the Health and Fitness industry. Whilst living in Sydney, Felicity ran a successful outdoor Personal Training business whereby she provided professional, personable and challenging sessions for: corporate groups; weight-loss programs; fitness challenges; run specific; boot-camp and box-fit classes. Felicity has a passion for assisting clients in setting and achieving goals, subsequently getting you back to optimal health and the life you love.

Areas of Interest/Expertise

Felicity has a keen interest in the Musculoskeletal system; sports injuries; neck pain and headaches, and back pain. How one system may influence another, and the interaction of the entire body. Each assessment focuses on the individual at hand.

Her background in sport gives her a greater knowledge of sport specific exercise prescription. She understands the desire to return to a sport or activity as soon as possible and can provide you quality service aiding a quick recovery.

Women’s Health, Pregnancy and Returning to Fitness after Childbirth

Felicity has a passion for helping women at all stages of their life. Having three young children of her own, she has a special interest in keeping women safe and active through pregnancy and the post-partum period. The information and guidelines on safe exercise throughout pre and post pregnancy can be confusing. Having gone through the process three times she understands the importance of exercise, not only for your physical health, but your mental and emotional health as well. Felicity follows the current evidence for exercise during pregnancy and return to running after child birth, and is excited to share her expertise with the women of Newcastle.

Sporting and Fitness Background

Felicity has an extensive background in sport, basketball and netball namely. During her younger years she was both a coach and player at representative and state level. Felicity now enjoys keeping fit by running, strength training, HIIT, sport with her children and competing in local fun runs.
