Qualifications and Experience

Cameron graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in 2015 before completing his Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. He has since completed advanced qualifications in the treatment of the pelvis and lumbar spine and routinely uses exercise, massage and techniques including dry needling to manage your injury.

Physiotherapy Roles

Cameron has worked with athletes of all levels including the Newcastle Knights, Sydney Roosters, Australian Rugby Union and is the current head physio of Lakes United. He compliments his field based sports experience with the ability to treat and manage all barbell sports having been a world record holder, multi time National, Oceania and Commonwealth champion and pound for pound #1 male Australian athlete four times.

Specific Physiotherapy Interests

Cameron has a particular interest in pelvic and lower limb injuries. He regularly attends specialist rooms and surgeries to give detailed insight into injury assessment, diagnosis and management. Working closely with these professionals has assisted in excellent patient outcomes. He also has close partnerships with numerous local health based businesses.

The weekly rehabilitation class Cameron runs utilises his extensive strength and conditioning experience allowing him to manage the entire scope of your injury, from beginning all the way through to return to sport or your desired goal.

In his spare time, Cameron enjoys practicing what he preaches by living an active and healthy lifestyle. This includes the gym, being outdoors and spending time in the kitchen to create nutritious food options.
