Rebecca spent most of her years in Tamworth NSW, before moving to the Hunter Valley with her family in 2012. She has always been interested in the human body, especially from a young age when she completed 12 years of Classical Ballet. In her later years, Rebecca has been heavily involved in Hockey, playing at club level and as a representative on several occasions for the Women’s Masters State Championships. She is also a dedicated runner, firstly on the road where she completed several marathons and more recently discovered the magic of the trails and ultra running, completing UTA50 earlier this year. 4 years ago the opportunity arose for Rebecca to complete her Diploma in Remedial Massage through Evolve College, and she was hooked on this as her new career direction.
Being a Remedial Massage Therapist has enabled Rebecca to continue her passion of assisting people through manual therapy. It allows her to continue to be involved in the sporting community and advance her knowledge in the human body.
My main focus is:
Q.What are your core beliefs about wellness and health??
Small changes make a big difference and it’s never too late to make those changes as it’s about education and forming good habits.Health is the best investment you can ever make – because without it we have nothing.
Q.What key health lessons do you like to impart to patients??
Keep it regular for maintaining optimal performance – you don’t let your car run until it breaks down so why wait until your body is injured? We are high performance sports cars that need regular servicing – the more we do, the more we need: simple equation.
Q.What do you enjoy about your job??
The most rewarding part of my job is helping people get out of pain and teaching them how to stay out of pain!
Q.What are your extracurricular passions??
In my spare time I enjoy running, both recreationally and in events. Outside of running, I appreciate time with my family and our dog, Frankie.
